I went through my Library folder by folder just to make sure. Uninstall ALL traces of previous HSTracker installations & associated files. My guess is that anyone else running El Capitan can skip the Blizzard uninstall/reinstall and simply do the following:
SO - I started a new game and - YAY - it worked! A new log was automatically created and this time it showed some previous game information along with my current player rank etc. I closed both applications down and reopened them, but NO LUCK.Īt this point, I decided to delete the existing HSTracker log file, restart Hearthstone and see what the log recorded. and saw that the game I played was recorded etc. So I went over to the logs in my Hearthstone folder just to make sure "power.log" was there etc. It seemed to me that the log should be recording game information, etc. This log contained the installation data and a boatload of other information, but at the very bottom all that was recorded was: I went to "Library/Application Support/Logs/HSTracker/" and viewed the log file.I launched Hearthstone and played a game.
When I launched HSTracker for install, it could not locate my Hearthstone installation, so I was prompted to put in the language settings and Hearthstone file path - which I did.I downloaded the most recent Beta version of HSTracker (linked above) and moved it into the same (user) Applications folder where I put my Blizzard/Hearthstone installation. After doing this, I launched Hearthstone just to make sure it was working properly. I reinstalled Blizzard/Hearthstone making sure to specifically choose the installation path (into my application folder under "users" rather than the default applications folder.I did the same thing for previous installs/files of ALL Blizzard games (WoW/Hearthstone/etc.).I went through Library/Application Support/ one folder at a time just to make sure I did not miss anything. I made sure that every trace of previous installs/files of HSTracker were completely removed from my computer.NOTE: Everything I did is probably unnecessary, but I am listing the entire process I went through just in case. Setting up 6 worker threads for Enlighten. After a few tries, I was able to get the most recent beta version (linked above) to work. Unloading 1743 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Unloading 2 Unused Serialized files (Serialized files now loaded: 49) Unloading 2337 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Unloading 2 Unused Serialized files (Serialized files now loaded: 82) Unloading 3990 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Unloading 3 Unused Serialized files (Serialized files now loaded: 82) Just a couple of lines from the tail of the file: I would attach the Player.log file to this reply, but don’t see a simple way to do that.
Tried uninstall/install and repair files, but neither fixes it.
